Fender launches new 60th Anniversary Road Worn Jazz Bass
Fender 60th Anniversary Road Worn Jazz Bass offers three different finish options with matching headstock and it is equipped with two pickups.
60 years of the iconic Jazz Bass
Fender introduced the new limited edition 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass, as part of the Road Worn line. The obvious reason is the celebration of 60 years of the iconic bass design.
Following the launch of the Vintera Road Worn series, the company has introduced a limited version of the Jazz Bass, which features a beautiful relic lacquer finish. Finish options are Tri-Color Sunburst, Firemist Silver, and Olympic White. In the last two options, the headstock is also painted to match the body color.
Features of the Fender Jazz Bass Road Worn
Features of the Jazz Bass Road Worn include an alder body. The neck is maple with a C-shaped profile from the mid 60’s. The fingerboard is made with pau ferro and has 20 vintage-style frets.
There’s also a four-saddle bridge, nickel / chrome hardware, vintage-style reverse tuners, four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, synthetic bone nut, and a four-bolt neck plate.
The pickups are a pair of 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass single coils, controlled, like early J-Bass models, by stacked concentric tone and volume knobs.
Price of Fender 60th Anniversary Road Worn Jazz Bass
The limited edition Fender 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass is available for USD 1,299.99.
