New Epiphone USA Casino with P90s Now Available

In line with the origins and tradition of Epiphone, the brand launches a new version of Casino made in the USA that comes with Gibson P90s pickups.

New Epiphone USA Casino with P90s

Going back to the origin of the model, Epiphone launches a Casino made in the United States, like the original launched in 1961. This model was first introduced three years later than the Gibson ES-330, the guitar on which the design of the Casino.

This new hollow body model Epiphone USA Casino with Gibson P90 pickups was unveiled at Winter NAMM 2020, the world’s most important music exhibition. Now it is available from an Epiphone dealer’s website.

Epiphone Casino 1961

The original Casino model from the 1960s has been popularized by guitarists and musicians of the likes of the Beatles with Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison . Other guitarists who played it include Keith Richards, Ray Davies, Dave Davies,  and  Paul Weller . 

Epiphone USA Casino Features: Back to the Origin

Epiphone has re-manufactured the Casino, at least this new model, in the US from around 50’s. This model is equipped with Gibson P90 pickups. Like all Gibson / Epiphone US made Hollow Bodies, the body has a  three-ply maple / poplar / maple front, back and sides. Also the neck is C-profile mahogany, with a 22 fret Indian rosewood fingerboard. Finally, the scale is the classic 24.75 ″. 

Vintage Sunburst Finish

The guitar comes with hand-wired electronics and Orange Drop capacitors. The pickups are two Gibson USA P-90 Dogear single-coil pickups, which puts them on par with Gibson-brand US-made models, just like they were in the 60s.

The price of the Epiphone USA Casino with P90s in the seller’s online store is USD 2699. Includes Epiphone Hard Case. The guitar is available in two finishes: Royal Tan or Vintage Burst with nitrocellulose lacquer.
